22 miles (2270 to 2292, hwy 12 white pass)
We woke up with a view of about 50 mountain goats descending from the top of the mountain down to munch on its grassy sides. As we hiked through goat rocks the rest of the morning we saw probably over 100 goats. Clay was so happy. The trail wound up to hike knife edge ridges with views of goats, glaciers, and mt Rainer.
We got to our resupply at white pass just after the store with our package in it closed. The lady inside was super nice and let us get it anyway and buy a little extra food. We are on the ground outside the store and when it got dark, walked back to the trail and found a place to sleep.
