40 miles Dosewallips to shelton
We were biking early by 8 this morning. Rain was supposed to move in late morning so we wanted to get in some miles before the weather got bad. Clay and I both have little battery packs to help keep our electronicals powered up. While plugged in the campground bathroom overnight, clays went missing. Between the stolen battery and the cloudy drizzle team spirit was low.
However, instead of the weather deteriorating, it improved. The drizzle dried up.
In Shelton, we stopped at Walmart to replace clays missing items. While here we decided we didn't want to chance getting rained on. The weather for the rest if the week is supposed to be gorgeous and we've camped in enough rain. To the hotel! We spent the afternoon eating and watching movies in a super 8. Tomorrow we hope to reach the Washington coast.
Although the views along the hood canal (more like a bay) was beautifully foggy and dreary, poor mood levels prevented photo taking. Boo!
