15 miles (698 to 713 in beck meadow)

We hiked in to the long awaited Kennedy meadow store. It's a small cabin like structure in a community with a population of 200. The large deck was full of hikers, probably over 100, who applaud, hoot and holler every time a new hiker walks up the driveway. I could get used to a welcome like that. 

We ate burgers, drank beer, hung out with friends and made purchases from the nearly empty store shelves. 

We hiked until late, 8, passing the miles with conversation, everyone buzzing with excitement over the new terrain.
